About Place:
Shiv Krishna has been successful in satiating the taste buds of South Mumbai by its Indian spices and flavours from last 17 years. This place has a very good seating arrangements which consists of ground floor Non AC section and first floor AC section. This place is just perfect for for your family to dine as it has aged old ambience of restaurant which makes people of all age groups at comfort. The paintings of Lord Krishna on walls invokes the spiritual touch inside you and also reflects the culture followed over here.
Our Experience:
Shiv Krishna had been our go to option for a perfect family dinner and we were anyways fond of its Indian Cuisine. Recently they had introduced many dishes on their menu to satiate the young crowd accompanying with their parents as well. We wanted to try out their new dishes and hence we dropped in. The staff over here is courteous and very helpful. Mr. Meghraj ( who is working here since 17years) and Mr. Nayak the manager will make sure that you are served what you like.
DRINKS:
😋Paan Mojito-
A refreshing drink full of paan flavour. Its just perfect for the one’s who enjoy the paan flavour. Highly Recommended..!!
😋Chocoberry Shake-
A shake bade from blue berries and chocolate. The consistency was good and it tasted good.
😋Masala Chaas-
An authentic Indian drink with full of pudina flavours along with chatpata masala. It was garnished with crispy bundi. Highly Recommended..!!
FOOD:
😋Tandoori Cheesy Kulcha (Jain): Mini sized kulchas stuffed with cheese and capsicum..!! It tasted good and can be enjoyed well with mint chuttney. Recommended..!
😋Achaari Khichdi Aranchini:
Fried balls made of khichdi with aachari flavours and served on the bed of sweet salsa sauce and papad rolls. It was delicious to taste and is Highly Recommend..!
😋Pav Bhaji Bruschetta:
An innovative way of presenting the Pav Bhaji. The taste of the baji was delicious and full of flavours. Highly Recommended..!!
😋Papdi Pizza Bites: (Jain)
An Italian version of sev puri is what I would say. It was cheesy and also spicy at the same time.
MAINS-
😋Triple Paneer Sabji:
It consists of 3 types of paneer sabji i.e Paneer Amritsari, Palak Paneer & Paneer labadar served in 3 buckets (Red, Yellow and Green). The taste of all the sabji were amazing spicy and just perfect. Also available in Jain. We had it along with Amritsari Kulcha which is stuffed kulcha and garlic naan. Both of them tasted amazing. Highly Recommended…!!
DESSERT-
😋Gulab Jamun with Ice-Cream:
When this dish arrived all we could see is small gulab jamuns swimming in pool of vanilla ice-cream. It had perfect amount of sweetness and it tasted good. Highly recommended.
